Upstream timber operation has been one of the Company’s core businesses, specialising in lumber extraction. LLT Group (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. secured in excess of 18,000 acre worth of natural forest concessions from the State Government of Pahang since its inception in 2005.

Throughout the years, the Company had achieved remarkable growth and was granted 5,000 acre of timber concession in year 2012 alone, a record high in the Company’s eight year history.

The key to success of the Company is mainly attributed to its strategic forest management and implementation of the Reduced Impact Logging (RIL) method in a bid to minimise the environmental implications.

The Company is also committed to ensure a sustainable future initiating various reforestation programmes.
