Our CR initiatives are planned in a strategic manner focussing on programmes and activities which promote self-sufficiency which align with our core values, mission and vision. Our portfolio covers three aspects:

Health, Safety and Environment

As a main player in the timber business, protecting the environment had been the Company's utmost priority. Besides executing regular reforestation projects upon the completion of timber harvesting, the Company had taken an additional step forward by organising campaigns to give away seeds in schools. This programme educates students and instill a sense of responsibility in them to look after the environment.

Development of Human Capital

 

As one of the Company core philosophies is nurturing human capital, LLT Group (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. had collaborated with the Forestry Department of Pahang and Kepong Forest School to provide a training ground for their recruits and allowing the future forest rangers to performs their practical evaluations.

Corporate Social Responsibility

As a responsible corporation, the Company have mooted various initiatives to support the community. Throughout the years, the Company have given in-kind and financial aid to alleviate the community's hardship as well as improving their quality of living. Besides donations, the Company have also constructed infrastructures such bridges for villagers to improve their connectivity to the town.
